Site feasibility is very crucial and we get started with planning in early stages of concept design. We only propose concepts to clients that adhere to relevant planning controls and is sympathetic to its surroundings.
We prepare all relevant documentation for development application consent and coordinate with external contractors such as Structural and Stormwater Engineers, Basix assessors, Arborists + more and certifying authority to submit your development application. We handle the application assessment process and work with Councils/Planners/Certifiers till we obtain development approval.
DUAL OCCUPANCY / DUPLEX DESIGNS
A custom-designed dual occupancy or duplex development can maximise the financial potential of your property. Subdivision and Duplex developments are our speciality here at A1 Design Studio. We specialise in master planning of duplex site development and work towards maximising our clients investment.
Duplex/ Dual occupancy and townhouse development designs starts from understanding key constraints of the local planning controls ( LEP and DCP) such as Lot size, Lot width, Height restrictions, Street setbacks, Local neighbourhood character, private open space allocation, Landscape areas, Privacy, overlooking and overshadowing + more.
If you are applying via CDC, than the complying development controls will apply. The task then is applying these controls and design in a way that maximises the opportunities and minimises the constraints.

Interior Design is usually something clients think about after development application, however here at A1 Design studio we believe interior design and documentation should be carried out along side architectural design. We do Home renovations, Project Homes, Custom new builds.
